Die Anglikanische Kirche Feiert die Himmelfahrt Christi traditionell mit einer besonderen Andacht bei Tagesanbruch an einem hohen Ort, beispielsweise auf einem Kirchturm oder Hügel. In diesem Jahr nutzen wir dafür die Dachterrasse des Ökumenischen Forums. "God is gone up with a merry noise with the sound of a trumpet!" Auch Trompeter Anton wird (hoffentlich) dabei sein. Im Anschluss gibt es Frühstück, darum wird um Anmeldung gebeten.

The tradition in the Church of England (Anglican Church) is to go to a high place at dawn on Ascension Day, to celebrate the ascension of our Lord. This would usually be a church tower, or the summit of a nearby hill - but we don't have either of these, so we're going on to the roof of the Ecumencial Forum instead. 'God is gone up with a merry noise, with the sound of the trumpet! Should be fun. Our friendly trumpet player Anton will be there (hopefully!) - and, as listed, there will be breakfast afterwards!
